Miracle of St. George and the Dragon

Dimensions:  height 69 cm, width 56 cm

George is slaying the dragon shown in the lower left corner of the composition. In the upper right corner is the blessing arm of Christ in the quadrant. To the left are shown waist-length depictions of the selected saints Blasius and martyrs Florus and Laurus. The icon has a rare iconographis feature: the dragon has four paws, large wings and massive corpus.
